Keys Boat Tours is a family-friendly recreational boat tour operation in the Lower Florida Keys. We offer boat tours and lessons: Eco, snorkel, sandbar, stand up paddle board tours and fishing charters. Motor boat lessons, navigation lessons and fishing lessons. Keys Boat Tours offers individuals, couples, and families alike an opportunity to “smooth it” not “rough it” or get seasick. We operate on the side of caution, checking first: tides, wind and weather. We want your experience with us to be a happy memory, so fair weather only. We try to keep it comfortable, and avoid choppy waters. The winter months are generally a little windy and not the flat pristine water of summertime.

CAPTAIN BRIAN
Captain Brian Branigan is USCG certified: master, 50 ton captain, with motor, steam, sail and tow endorsements for near coastal waters. Captain Brian started sailing in and around the Florida Keys as an assistant instructor with Outward Bound in the 1980’s. The trips were a experience of a lifetime (for many) including Captain Brian. Captain Brian went on to work for Outward Bound for three years; summers in Maine, and winters in the FL Keys. Nearly 30 years later, Captain Brian has returned to the Keys to start his own tour guide business, Keys Boat Tours. Keys Boat Tours was established in 2015.
Captain Brian is author to books: Boat Fish Live, a compendium to Keys Boat Tours' Hands-On Boat Lesson, and The Road To Key West, a guidebook of the Lower Keys from Marathon to Key West.
His other Books include Once Upon a Time-bomb and Foodtruck 411.
All books are a collaboration between Brian and Allison. Brian writes the books and Allison designs and illustrates them.
CAPTAIN ALLISON
Captain Allison Branigan is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) licensed Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV). Captain Allison got her license a couple years after forming Keys Boat Tours with Brian. Captain Allison operates a 22' Sea Chaser bay boat. She follows Captain Brian in her boat whenever we host groups larger than six passengers. Allison also captains the Mangrove Paddle Tour, Bridge and Eco Tours and some Snorkel Tours to Looe Key and Newfound Harbor. When Allison is not doing charters for Keys Boat Tours, she captains for Seacamp (the marine science camp for kids on Big Pine Key).
